DESCRIPTION:A modernbatik stripe fabric that runs Railroad or Horizontally is durable and suitable for high traffic areas of your home. The color registration shows several shades of blue, on a cream base background color. Crypton finish is stain resistant, moisture resistant, odor resistant, antimicrobial and easy cleanable with a clean damp cloth, as well as chemistry safe for your family and our planet.

*Railroaded fabric, or RR fabric, is a fabric with a pattern that runs horizontally across the width of the fabric, perpendicular to the selvage. Non-railroaded fabric, or “Up the Roll”,runs vertical to the selvage and is commonly used for draperies.

In most cases, railroaded fabric is often used for upholstery because it allows cushions to be made in one continuous piece. All railroaded fabric can easily be used for drapery or other projects needing parallel or “Up the Roll” fabric. You will just have horizontal running lines as seen in Photo No. 4.
